I choose to wear barefoot shoes for a variety of reasons. When I used to wear normal shoes, I would always take my shoes off to squat and deadlift. Switching to these made it so I don't have to keep taking my shoes on and off. Plus I like running in these as my feet and calves are way stronger and more developed because of it.
Noise canceling. Comfortable. Small. Don't slip off my ear. Water and sweat-resistant. They are a little expensive but when you use them every single day it pays to have nice ones.
Weightlifting belts are a great tool to use while training. When you're experienced and learn how to use it properly they are very useful. Most people think it's to support your back, which is somewhat true. Really it provides another layer for you to push your abs against when you're braced during heavy lifts. A good weightlifting belt goes a long way. This is the one I have when they offered a natural leather color.
Lifting straps help you pick heavy things up by assisting your grip. Lifting wraps wrap around your wrists to support heavy lifts. Both shouldn't be depended on during your workouts. But when you need to push that little extra, it's good to have these tools available and they are pretty cheap.
Bands are instrumental in my stretching and preventative maintenance routine every morning. I use them for rotator cuff, rhomboid, lat, neck, hip, ankle, and foot mobility work. I recommend having at least one decent band to do rotator cuff work with. They aren't super expensive and it will be well worth the investment in your mobility and more directly, your longevity.
It's important to do soft tissue work every once in a while. Sometimes you gotta break apart those knots to regain your mobility and start making progress again.
